Aaliyah Kissoon, a 30-year-old entrepreneur, was kidnapped near a fast-food outlet in Chase Village around 9 p.m. on Friday. Kissoon was speaking with her mother on the phone while purchasing a meal when the call abruptly ended. Her boyfriend later received a ransom demand for $3.5 million from Kissoon’s own mobile phone, followed by a second call from an unknown number directing him to her location. Police subsequently recovered her silver Toyota Axio, registration number PDS 3373, at the car park near the Children's Hospital in Mt. Hope.
