A 46-year-old Chinese businessman was accosted by two bandits in the car park of C3 Mall around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. The victim was approaching his Toyota Hiace panel van after collecting sales and rent money when the suspects confronted him. During the encounter, the victim was robbed of $230,000 in cash before being shot in the chest as the suspects fled. He was subsequently transported to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
