Police are investigating a massive house breaking and larceny after a resident returned home Tuesday afternoon to find her apartment completely emptied. The intruder entered through a northern side door between 5 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., stealing major appliances, including a fridge ($13,000), two washing machines ($23,000), a dryer ($7,000), and various furniture and electronics. The total value of the stolen items is yet to be fully determined.
