A man was the victim of a violent armed robbery and shooting around 11:05 a.m. in the Arima area, leaving him in critical condition. Three men confronted the victim, struck him multiple times, and stole $30,000 in cash. While attempting to flee, the victim was shot in the lower back. He was later transported to a health facility by a passerby.
