An attempted shooting incident occurred in Tableland, New Grant, around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Jerome Joseph (22) was walking north along Monkey Town 3rd Branch Road when he encountered Joshua Benjamin (24), who was armed with a firearm. Benjamin pointed the weapon and fired several shots at Joseph. Joseph managed to flee the scene unharmed, though his vehicle was later found damaged (see Incident 4). Two spent shells were recovered by police.
