A resident of Westmoorings returned home Wednesday night to find their house had been ransacked and broken into, with the rear backdoor lock forced open. The intruders not only searched the property but also committed an unusual act of theft, removing the electricity meter from its base. The victim is currently unaware of what other valuables were stolen during the burglary.
