Around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, 40-year-old David Toby, also known as One Eye or Blacks, was shot in the head while standing outside a residence at Upper Kavi Crescent, Petit Valley. Toby was reportedly involved in a verbal dispute with his girlfriend, who was inside the apartment of another man at the time. A single gunshot was heard, and Toby was discovered with a life-threatening wound that entered the right side of his head and exited the left. He was immediately transported to the hospital by his girlfriend and the male occupant of the apartment.
