A Diego Martin resident was defrauded of $4,300 after purchasing a fake gold chain advertised on Facebook Marketplace. The buyer met with the seller's representative on Tuesday to complete the transaction, paying the full amount after a quick test. The following day, the chain was confirmed fake at a Port of Spain pawn center, and the incident was subsequently reported to the West End Police Station.
