A 39-year-old driver was defrauded of $5,100 cash and his KXD smartphone after being hired for a trip from Mayaro to Port of Spain. The suspect convinced the driver to hand over the money under the pretense of exchanging it for US currency. The suspect exited the vehicle near Massy Stores in Curepe and failed to return.
