Around 10:00 a.m., a woman went to Grand Curacaye, San Juan, to complete the sale of a camera system valued at $2,000 to a man she met on Facebook Marketplace known as Marlon Edwards. After handing over the equipment, the suspect directed her to a Royal Castle outlet on the Eastern Main Road to collect the payment from an employee named Nisha. Upon arrival, the victim discovered the employee had no knowledge of the transaction or the suspect. The victim subsequently realized she had been defrauded after the suspect failed to answer further phone calls.
