An armed robbery occurred at the Mickey Trotman Recreation Grounds in Arima, Northern Division, around 8:14 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025. A 19-year-old man from Sangre Grande was liming with a friend when a lone gunman approached and pointed a firearm at him. Under threat of violence, the victim surrendered a Spanish-link gold chain valued at approximately $30,000.00 TTD. The suspect immediately fled the scene on foot heading in a southerly direction.
