A homicide occurred on Friday night, December 5, 2025, when 31-year-old Mickel Browne was shot and killed during a brazen gun attack outside the King Style Bar in San Juan. A gunman approached Browne and his friends and opened fire, striking Browne multiple times. An off-duty police officer gave chase and discharged his firearm but the suspect escaped. Browne was pronounced dead at the hospital at 9:10 p.m.
