30-year-old Odelle Lalman-Baptiste was found dead with her throat slit and multiple stab wounds in Carlsen Field, hours after being abducted during a late-night robbery. The victim and her husband, Mathias Baptiste, were ambushed by armed men while traveling along Hospital Road. The suspects robbed the husband of his Hyundai H-100 van, cash, and mobile phones before kidnapping Lalman-Baptiste and fleeing in the stolen vehicle.
