A 38-year-old woman sustained second-degree burns to over 22% of her body after her former boyfriend broke into her Murli Street home. The suspect forced his way inside around 2:00 a.m., poured Puncheon rum on the victim, and ignited her with a lighter during a struggle. The assailant reportedly extinguished the flames before fleeing the scene; the victim is being treated at the San Fernando General Hospital.
