Maloney Resident Sentenced to Hard Labour Following Glock Seizure

During an early morning anti-crime operation at Pelican Lane, Maloney Gardens, police discovered a Glock 19 firearm and 15 rounds of ammunition. 46-year-old Denzil Baird, a joiner, was arrested and subsequently sentenced to four years’ hard labour. The operation was conducted under State of Emergency Powers and involved the Anti-Extortion and K9 Units.
