Marcus Guy, 52, was discovered lying on the southern side of the Priority Bus Route around 9.20 pm on November 8, suffering from apparent chop wounds. He was transported to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing emergency treatment. Jahqueen Bobb, 40, was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the homicide.
