A man was hospitalized after being stabbed during a confrontation on Ramjass Street, off Don Miguel Road in Barataria, around 10:00 a.m. The victim was approached by a suspect he identified as Angelo, who was armed with a knife. Following a verbal altercation, the victim attempted to walk away, at which point the suspect stabbed him in the right side of his back before fleeing on foot along Ramjass Street. The victim was able to raise an alarm and was transported to the hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
