A 56-year-old maxi taxi driver was assaulted and robbed while on duty Monday afternoon. After picking up a male passenger near Mausica Road, the driver was struck and robbed of a quantity of cash upon reaching Reid Lane. The suspect escaped on foot, fleeing north into the D’Abadie area.
