Proprietor robbed of licensed firearm and $50,000 at Preysal wholesale business

Three armed men targeted Defiance Wholesalers in Preysal around 7:15 p.m., robbing a 38-year-old businessman of his licensed Glock 19 pistol, a magazine with 15 rounds, and TT$50,000 in cash. The suspects also seized six bottles of Hennessy, cigarettes, jewelry, a Samsung phone, and the store's Hikvision DVR to hinder identification. Following the initial robbery, the gunmen forced the victim into his residence, where they robbed a relative of jewelry and a Samsung A22 phone. The assailants fled in a white AD Wagon bearing registration PDG 1292, which was later found to be assigned to a Nissan Note.
