Around 7:45 p.m., a rideshare driver and his passenger were lured to a secluded area in Caparo under the guise of picking up a woman known as Annastacia. Upon arrival at a narrow road on Chickland Road, a man armed with a cutlass entered the vehicle and ordered both occupants out of the car and onto the ground. A second assailant, also armed with a cutlass, emerged from nearby bushes to assist in the robbery. The driver was robbed of $800, his wallet, and his cell phone, while the passenger was robbed of $1,000 and his phone. The suspects then fled the scene in the driver's black Hyundai Elantra, registration PDD 4573.
