A brazen robbery occurred on Flamingo Avenue, Lisas Gardens, Couva, Central Division, around 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. A Pastor was standing in front of his yard when he was approached by a man of Hispanic descent who attempted to engage him in conversation. The suspect then snatched an envelope containing $24,000 in church proceeds from the victim's hand and fled into a waiting silver Nissan Tiida (PDN-2035). The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with a light brown complexion, wearing dark clothing and sneakers.
