A violent armed robbery occurred at Patrick Young Singh and Company Limited in Caroni, Central Division, around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025. A surveillance officer on duty was ambushed by five suspects dressed in dark clothing and face coverings. Two of the assailants were armed with firearms. The suspects assaulted the victim, striking him multiple times, and restrained him with duct tape. They stole $200 TTD and a Samsung cellular phone valued at $1,600 TTD before fleeing the premises.
