A security officer employed with Trav Tech Security Services was violently assaulted while on duty at Diamond Liquor Mart and Supermarket along Papourie Road, San Fernando. Around 3:44 p.m., a suspect identified as Cookie attacked the officer, dealing several blows to his body before fleeing the scene. Personnel from the Emergency Health Services responded to the location and transported the injured officer to the hospital for medical treatment. Local police are currently seeking the identified suspect in connection with the physical assault.
