A burglary at Stingray Bar and Lounge on King Sultan Street, Cunupia, was interrupted during the early hours of Saturday morning. The proprietor had secured the premises at midnight, but by 4:15 a.m., his son alerted him to suspicious noises coming from the business. Upon inspection, the owner discovered that a 65-inch JVC TV, a 45-inch TCL TV, and a mixer had been removed. Following a report to the police, responding officers conducted a search of the immediate area and successfully recovered all the stolen items on an empty parcel of land located on the eastern side of the building. The suspect apparently fled the scene empty-handed to avoid capture.
