A 70-year-old veteran of Belmont was beaten and robbed by four men, two armed with knives, while entering his Mazda 323 on Cockerton Street. The attackers pulled the senior citizen from his car, assaulted him, and stole $4,600 in cash, a cellphone, and his Defence Force ID.
