A 48-year-old woman, Asha Norman, was endangered when her husband, Amarnath Ramnarinesingh, threatened to burn down their home in Princes Town around 5:45 p.m. Sunday. The subsequent blaze gutted the two-storey house and destroyed a parked vehicle, resulting in the death of Ramnarinesingh, whose remains were found near the staircase. Police are investigating the incident, as the husband reportedly suffered from mental illness.
