An off-duty officer was physically assaulted by his estranged girlfriend around 12:21 p.m. while driving along the Southern Main Road in Cunupia. Following a doctor's appointment, an argument broke out near St. Anthony’s Park, during which the woman slapped the officer in his face as he slowed for traffic. She then forcibly grabbed his grey Ted Baker glasses and a black Adidas cap, with a combined value of $4,932.25, before exiting the vehicle. The suspect fled the scene on foot following the physical confrontation and theft of the items.
