Nancy Almarales was killed and a PH taxi driver, Kevin Charles, was injured after their vehicle was ambushed by gunmen on Valencia Old Road. Despite being wounded, Charles managed to drive the white Nissan AD Wagon to the Valencia Police Post to seek assistance, but Almarales succumbed to her injuries in the vehicle outside the station.
