A woman successfully defended herself during an attempted robbery outside her apartment around 7:32 p.m. As she was exiting her home, she was approached by an unknown male, approximately 5ft 4 inches tall with a dark complexion, wearing a maroon t-shirt. The suspect grabbed her handbag and threatened to shoot her. A physical struggle ensued, during which the victim managed to fight off the assailant and retrieve her bag. The victim raised an alarm, causing the suspect to flee the scene empty-handed.
