Assault: Man (35) Violently Stabbed and Robbed in Port-of-Spain Restaurant

A 35-year-old man from Morvant was the victim of a violent assault and stabbing by a group of four men at a Chinese Restaurant on Independence Square, Port-of-Spain, around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. The attack, stemming from a prior dispute over a cup, saw the victim struck on the head and attacked with bottles and chairs. The assailant known as Moses stabbed the victim three times in the upper chest. During the assault, the victim's dark grey Samsung A05 cell phone was also stolen. The injured man was subsequently treated at the Port of Spain General Hospital.
