A 27-year-old resident, Jamir Daniel, is recovering after being shot during an attempted robbery at his home on Blue Basin Road on Saturday night, December 6, 2025. Around 10:05 p.m., Daniel was confronted by two unknown men, one armed with a firearm, who demanded entry to his home. A struggle ensued, during which a shot was fired, striking Daniel under his right arm. The suspects fled, and Daniel was transported to the Westshore Accident and Emergency Department for treatment.
