A robbery of a motor vehicle (carjacking) occurred in the North Eastern Settlement, Sangre Grande, Eastern Division, around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025. A 36-year-old man from Junction Road was hired by an acquaintance for a drop-off at Immortelle Crescent. Upon arrival, the suspect (later identified as Shakquan Parks, 22) switched off the engine, removed the keys, and ordered the victim out of the car, supported by several unknown individuals surrounding the vehicle. The victim fled. Police subsequently arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen silver Mazda 323 on Park Avenue Extension.
