A serious robbery occurred at Upper Fairly, Bamboo Trace, Tunapuna, Northern Division, around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Two men, both 45 years old (from Couva and Marabella), were meeting a buyer arranged via Facebook to sell an air rifle. Upon arrival, they were confronted by three armed men who stole the air rifle ($30,000 TT), a gold chain ($7,000 TT), two cellphones (Samsung S10, Redmi), and $500 TT cash. Both victims escaped, but one sustained injuries to both knees during the incident.
