A 67-year-old retiree was forced to physically battle a six-foot-tall intruder who broke into his Diamond Vale residence on Monday morning. The suspect, armed with a knife, engaged in a struggle with the victim before stealing a gold chain, $3,300 in cash, and several personal identification documents.
