Police in St. James are investigating the killing of 56-year-old Nicole Ovid, whose lifeless body was discovered on a pavement near Finland Street in the early hours of Sunday, December 7, 2025. The discovery followed a report of a physical altercation between Ovid and a known man. The male suspect later walked into the police station, confirmed the altercation, and was subsequently arrested and cautioned in connection with the death.
