Police are investigating a violent home invasion in Chaguanas that occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025. A maxi taxi driver, his wife, and their 15-year-old child were confronted by three masked men, one armed with a firearm, as the driver attempted to exit his home. The suspects tied the hands and feet of the victims before ransacking the house. The robbers stole cell phones, laptops (including two Samsung A22 phones and two laptops), cash, and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
