A 9:10 a.m. commute turned into a violent abduction when a suspect intercepted a taxi carrying his ex-girlfriend and her stepfather on Manahambre Road. The suspect used his vehicle to block the taxi near a tire shop, forcibly removed the woman, and pushed her into his silver Nissan B15. The victim was taken to a residence at Maingot Road, St. Julien Village, where she was sexually assaulted. Acting on a report from the victim's stepfather, officers from the Princes Town Police Station tracked the suspect to the location and arrested him for kidnapping and rape.
