Police discovered a black Suzuki Swift (Reg. No. PED 8084) abandoned with its engine and lights on between Seventh Street and Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick, containing a loaded Glock 19 pistol, blood, a spent shell, and a Samsung A32 phone. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Chaguanas on December 14, 2024, and was fitted with false plates. Simultaneously, a 35-year-old Arouca man arrived at Mt. Hope Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim claimed he was robbed of a gold chain and a Samsung S21 in Bon Air, Arouca, around 7:00 p.m.
