A man was the victim of a violent setup after being invited by an acquaintance known as Josh to a residence at Printery Ville, O’Meara Road, Arima. Upon entering the house, the victim was ambushed by six masked men armed with a firearm and knives. The group beat the victim before robbing him of his wallet, Samsung cellphone, and vehicle keys. The assailants then bound and gagged the man, placed him in the trunk of his own silver Nissan Y12 AD Wagon (PDX 1532), and drove him to Carapo Main Road. He was thrown out of the vehicle near the Ministry of Works and Transport compound while the suspects fled with his car. The victim was treated for minor injuries at the Arima Health Facility.
