A white Nissan B14 was stolen after its owner was accosted by two masked men on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway. The suspects, who claimed to be law enforcement officers, intercepted the victim near the Diamond Flyover and physically assaulted him. After restraining the victim with tie straps, the assailants took control of his vehicle and drove him to a remote location on Quinam Road, Siparia. The suspects fled with the victim's car, leaving him bound on the roadway until he was discovered by a police patrol on Sunday morning.
