A 22-year-old man from Powder Magazine reported being defrauded after attempting to purchase an iPhone 17 online. Around 4:54 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, the victim deposited $6,000 TTD into a Republic Bank account at the West Moorings branch as payment for the advertised smartphone. Following the deposit, the victim never received the device and was unable to recover his funds.
