Five male suspects fled a crime scene in Laventille using a stolen white Honda Vezel, registration PEK 9654, valued at TT$220,000. The vehicle was taken following the kidnapping and assault of a media house manager who was intercepted on the Beetham Highway. In addition to the car, the suspects made off with a silver card wallet, a blue Lenovo laptop, and various electronic items belonging to a local TV station. Police are also investigating unauthorized cash withdrawals made from the victim's bank accounts during the period he was held captive.
